Well I hope that everyone is gearing up for Valentines Day.  The weather here has been beautiful all week so I hope it's getting better back home where you guys are.  Last nights show was so much fun!  It was at a repeat show and when I said I was going to do a song for bald men about 6 men in the audience reached down and put on these bald caps.  I looked up after taking a drink and laughed so hard.  I guess the men with hair were feeling a little left out.  I'm getting ready for another show tonight.  Things are great.  I absolutely love all the letters you've been sending so keep them coming.  It makes me feel a bit closer to home.

Hey!!! Well i'm getting ready for a 5 show run starting tomorrow so I thought I'd write before bed tonight.  I just got my radio report and have been added to 4 more stations totaling 18 so far.  I'm also excited that I am going to be doing a radio interview on thursday with a station in Quebec.  Last night I got a great surprise when 7 of my fans and friends from home showed up at the show I did.  Jim, Lois, Sharon and Bob Leonard, Brenda and Joe Danaher and Janet all came and it was such a great surprise. They're visiting Florida for a couple weeks.  Hope you are all doing great!  It's been nice here finally!!! I'm looking so forward to Mark's visit on the weekend.  He's comin down for Valentines day.  Take care and keep requesting, "When I  Get There"

Hey You guys!!! I know it's been a week since I've written so I thought I'd take a moment to check in.  Mom has now gone home and I have had a busy week moving my new room mates Gladys and Werner in.  They will be here for the month of Feb. helping me with shows.  We've done one show since they've been here and it turned out really great.  It was in Port Richey, Florida and the audience was so energetic and incredible.  At the end of the night I got a standing ovation and was told by a gentleman that it was the best act that's ever been in their park.  The three of us also managed to fit in a game of 50 cent bingo at our park the other day on our day off so that was fun.  Today, was a really great day too!!! I performed at an entertainment showcase that my agent puts on where talent buyers come out to book our shows based on a 17 min. showcase.  There were 18 acts and I was up second at 11 am this morning.  After 4 songs the audience gave me one of the only standing ovations of the day so I was thrilled they liked it as it means more work for next year.  We stayed all day to watch the other acts and had a wonderful time!!!  So everything is great here except for the darn weather.   It's so cold here!  This morning when I got up Werner had to scrape the frost off the window before we could leave. I mean come on we're in Florida for goodness sakes.   It's suppose to start warming up tomorrow and we're planning on heading to the flea market for the day as we have the day off.

Hey!!! I wanted to check in and tell you all about the past week here in Florida.  I have had such a busy and exciting week but right now am pretty exhausted and looking forward to my day off tomorrow.   Last weekend while Mark was here we had just the best time.  Saturday we did a show and then Sunday we had a really full day.  We went to church in the morning then from there went to the Bok tower gardens.  It was really so beautiful and it was a nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon.  I'm going to put some pics we took there up on my facebook tomorrow.  So then we went and had dinner with some friends that helped to get me working down here because I wanted them to meet Mark.  After dinner we came back to our park and attended the ice cream social in the wreck hall and then Mark and I headed out on our own to the Disney Boardwalk.  It was all lit up and the weather was just perfect.  We had a nice romantic stroll along the walk. After the walk we decided to take in some entertainment and went in to a piano bar.  It was so much fun as the entertianers sang oldies and got the crowd singing and dancing along.  Even Mark was singing along and although it was so fun to see I promise you all never have to worry about Mark singing on stage with me! LOL.  We laughed, danced and sang and just had the greatest time.  It was way too short though as I had to bring him to the airport the next morning.   On monday mom and I headed into Lakeland for the Snowbird Extravaganza.  It's a show I've been doing for 9 years and one I look forward to all year long.  There was 15,000 people over the 2 days that watched the shows and I was one of 9 performers on the ticket this year.  The coolest part was that the company brought in a surprise act at the last minute so last night I got the opportunity to meet the one and only Rita Macneil.  She was so nice and just so kind and it was really a moment I'll never forget.  The 2 day event was awsome and really successful.  Today we returned to our park and rested up as I had a show tonight.  The show was so great that the park booked me to sing there again in February. 

Tomorrow, we are visting friends all day and taking it easy.  I miss you all back home but I do not miss the weather that's for sure.
